Carlsbad Cliffs: History

Personal Experience: This place is by far one of my favorite hidden Carlsbad spots. Most recently it has been attracting a lot of traffic, especially to couples, but never the less still is a very peaceful and scenic area. Take the stairs down to the main beach area and make a direct left. You will see a beaten pathway to the "second level" which is a perfect spot for romantic dates or family picnics.
